Ja'mil Jones, Combo Guard that is Looking for a Job

Hello my name is Ja'mil Jones and I recently recieved your contact information in an email that was sent to me. I am extremely interested in playing for a club.

A little about myself is that I graduated May 2015 from Quincy University in Quincy, Illinois but I am originally from Columbia, South Carolina. I have an up to date US passport that is good for the next 5 years. I am left handed and I am pretty good in the pick roll whether it is creating for myself or for others.

I am an extremely hard worker, I shot 81.2% from the free throw and 42.3% from 3 this year. I have a really good attitude and I demonstrate a good attitude on and off the court.

I understand that this would be my first year playing professional basketball and would be willing to take a somewhat lower pay. I also have your phone number and I'm not sure if there is any way that we may be able to talk over the phone and communicate that way.

My phone number is 803-629-7852. I am attaching my basketball resume and the link to my highligh tape. Also attached is a full game film. In the game film at the time we are playing Drury University who was number 7 in the nation.  I am number 1 in the brown jerseys.  I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Vr,

Ja'Mil Jones <jonesjg@quincy.edu>

Dylan Garrity, point guard that is looking for a job,
is a 6'3 PG out of Sacramento State

Hi Coach,

We have a point guard that is looking for a job... Dylan Garrity is a 6'3 PG out of Sacramento State, where he was a four-time All Big Sky player.

He is a knock down shooter and a very smart basketball player that excels off the pick and roll. He is leaving Portugal, because of a bad situation and is still in Portugal for another week, which would be a very cheap flight.

A 2011 graduate of Edison High School in Huntington Beach, Calif…played four years of varsity basketball for the Chargers…a two-time all-state, two-time Sunset League MVP, three-time first team all-section, three-time first team all-league, three-time all-county and three-year team captain…became the first player to have his jersey retired in the 42-year history of the Edison High School boys basketball program…finished as the school’s all-time leader in games (114), points (1,729) and assists (438)…averaged at least 17 points a game each of his final three seasons…finished with career averages of 15.2 points, 3.9 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 48.8 percent (556-1139) from the field, 44.0 percent (211-480) from the three-point line and 84.1 percent (406-483) from the free throw line…Edison’s overall record improved all four years of Garrity’s tenure, culminating in a 26-3 overall record, an 8-2 league mark, a Sunset League championship and a CIF Div. II Southern Section quarterfinal appearance in 2010-11…during that senior season, Garrity led the league in scoring at 20.6 points per game while also averaging 3.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game…shot 53.0 percent (202-381) from the field, 45.5 percent (76-167) from the three-point line and 82.9 percent (116-140) from the free throw line…averaged 23 points during the 2011 section playoffs, including a 25-point effort in a season-ending loss to Compton in the quarterfinals…scored in double figures in all but one game during the season, including 17 games with at least 20 points…shot at least 47.0 percent from the field and 42.5 percent from the three-point line during each of his final three seasons while averaging 17.4 points per game as a junior and 17.8 points as a sophomore…won a CIF Southern Section skills challenge as a senior, beating out other participants who were nominated as MVP of their respective leagues.
