A cada jugador le está asignado un punto sobre el campo, en tanto ha obtenido ese punto legalmente. Pero no todo jugador tiene posición legal de defensa. En el caso que estamos analizando, si el jugador la hubiera tenido jamás tendríamos un falta de bloqueo.
Si el jugador esta corriendo a través del campo, no tiene una PLD, pero le es asignado el lugar por el que está corriendo. Si es empujado, tendremos una falta. El intento de la regla no es la de crear una zona gris, ni se aplica en este caso.

Each player is entitled to a spot on the floor, as long as he obtained that spot legally. But not every player on the floor has legal guarding position. In the case we are analyzing, if he did, we would never have a blocking foul.
If the player is running down the floor, he doesn't have LGP, but he is entitled to the space he is running in. If he is pushed, we have a foul.
The intent of the rule is not creating a grey zone, nor does it applies here.

Analicemos esta situación de juego del baloncesto en esta manera: un balón suelto - sabemos que un "loose ball" es cualquier balón que está en juego pero no en posesión de un jugador - está en su camino a fuera del campo. But, note that I'm talking NFHS and NCAA rules, not FIBA. The ball doesn't have to touch anything before it goes over to have a whistle. You can't legally throw the ball over the rectangular backboard, from the front or back, whether it's a shot, pass, throw-in, etc.

No se está seguro del pase por detrás del tablero ?

Y si se trata de un lanzamiento defleccionado, un pase intencional o cualquier otra situación ?

Lo único que produce una violación es en el caso de un lanzamiento que bota después de haber contactado el aro o el borde superior frontal del tablero ?

2) salta desde dentro del campo de juego y agarra el balón, y lo lanza con fuerza hacia atrás...
3) el balón pasa directamente por detrás del tablero sin tocar ni el tablero ni los soportes...
4) el balón aterriza dentro del campo en el otro lado del campo a más o menos 2 metros de la línea lateral...

Es ésta una jugada legal ? No estoy seguro sobre la trayectoria del balón por detrás del tablero....
Si se trata de una Pérdida de Balón ? Del jugador o del equipo ?
