Fundamento de la Regla: Si después de un intento de lanzamiento, un jugador toca el balón mientras éste está en su vuelo hacia arriba, todas las restricciones referidas al 'goaltending' - interferencia ilegal del balón, serán aplicadas.

Regla del Juego: El contacto de  B2 ( o A2 ) con el balón en su vuelo hacia arriba es legal y no altera la situación de un lanzamiento a gol. Sin embargo, el posterior contacto con el balón en su descenso por B3 or A3 es una violación.

Registro eBA de las Estadísticas del Baloncesto:
En el caso de B3, dos o tres puntos son otorgados al equipo A, sin registro alguno en contra de B3 - esta posesión finaliza con la canasta.
En el caso de violación de A3, el balón es otorgado al equipo B para una puesta en juego desde el lateral, registrándose una 'Pérdida de Balón No Forzada' en contra de A3.

Game Rule: The contact of B2 ( or A2 ) with the ball in its upward flight is legal and does not change the status of a shot for a goal. However, the subsequent contact with the ball in its downward flight by A3 or B3 is a violation.

eBA Basketball Statistical Registration:
In the case of B3, two or three points are awarded to team A, without any register against B3 - this possession ends with the basket.
In the case of A3's violation, the ball is awarded to team B for a throw-in, with an 'Unforced Turnover' register against A3.
