No podemos ver como la jugada continúa y la posesión termina, lo cual nos da lugar a suponer. Conforme a la señal del juez, fue penada una falta regular dando dos tiros libre a Tim Thomas. Entonces podemos analizar la situación leyendo este hilo y la exposición "Registro Estadístico de los Tiros Libres" en Clínicas eBA: la falta personal es básicamente una "mala" acción, debido al conteo de las faltas personales y a los tiros libres concedidos al oponente.

Sólo en el caso de que ambos tiros libres sean errados, la falta será "buena". En otro momento del partido, especialmente sobre el final, no en el primer minuto, errando uno y convirtiendo el otro le daría al jugador que cometió la falta una calificación  de falta "neutral".

Si una falta técnica o antideportiva fueron también penadas, entonces una pérdida de balón será registrada.

We can not see how this play goes on and the possessions ends, what give us place only to suppose. According to the referee's signal, it was called only a regular foul giving two free throws to Tim Thomas. Sin comentarios, esta es otra muestra cómica del arbitraje en la FIBA, que crea tantos dolores de cabeza  a los analistas de partido. Pero en este caso Usted no tiene nada que registrar, quizás el analista del Grecia debiera registrar las faltas "intentadas" en los comentarios del registro jugada-por-jugada.
Yao tiene un 86% de porcentaje en los tiros libres... Esto no justifica el "error" de los jueces porque de cualquier manera aquellas faltas debieron ser cobradas y sin embargo 3 segundos es un montón de tiempo en baloncesto moderno !
No hay aquí ningún trabajo para el estadígrafo.

No hago aquí ninguna pregunta, simplemente traigo otro ejemplo del pobre nivel de arbitraje que causa tantos problemas a los analistas de partidos... cuando los oponentes QUIEREN que los jueces penen una falta en su contra mientras ametrallan a Yao Ming con muy buenos 5 segundos por jugar y los jueces no lo pueden ver...

I don´t make any question here, I simply bring another example of the poor officiating level which causes so many problems to the game analysts... when opponents WANT the refs to call a foul on them while hacking Yao Ming with very good 5 seconds to go and the officials still can't see it...

En algunas situaciones, un equipo puede obtener la canasta y el balón ( esto es a menudo referido como un "doble jeopardy" ). Las reglas de la NBA evitan este problema:

With reference to the foul type: in all the cases, this is an general example of a "bad" foul. Only in the case of a foul intentionally made on a certain player to sen him to the line, may be classified as "good" - in case of missed free-throws - or "neutral".
