Antes de mover esta pregunta al foro correcto, le transmito una idea... En un sentido general, el promedio no está determinado por la comparación de rebote ofensivo del equipo y el rebote defensivo. Si Usted naliza un equipo que reventó los tableros ofensivos pero descuidó los rebotes defensivos y obtuvo un 50% en ambos, ello no debería ser promediado; debería mostrarse un promedio en alza del  reboteo ofensivo y un promedio en descenso del reboteo defensivo.

Qué es lo que exáctamente nos dice la Evaluación del Porcentaje de Rebote Defensivo y Ofensivo de Equipo ? Por ejemplo, tenemos al Equipo A con un Porcentaje de Rebote Defensivo del 68% y un 29% en el Ofensivo. Este %RO nos daría un %RD del 71% para el Equipo B. Correcto ?

What precisely do Team DReb% and OReb% states? For example, we have Team A with a 68% DReb% and a 29% OReb%. This OReb% would give to Team B a DReb% of 71%. Right ?

Este no es el tópico correcto para esta pregunta ( podría Usted utilizar la opción de "Búsqueda" la próxima vez, a efectos de postear su mensaje en el lugar correcto ? Gracias !) pero le presentaré algunos pensamientos antes de enviarlo al tópico correcto...

1 - A un equipo que lanza muchos tiros libres le son cometidas una gran cantidad de faltas personales, porque penetran hacia el aro más que lanzar desde los tres puntos;

2 - El lanzamiento desde los tres puntos es más efectivo que los lanzamiento cercanos;

3 - Existe una correlación estadística positiva entre el número de lanzamientos de tres puntos que un equipo lanza y cuan a menudo este equipo vence;

4 - Existe una correlación estadística positiva entre el número de penetraciones al aro y el número de los intentos de lanzamiento de tres puntos;

5 - Finalmente, existe una correlación estadística positiva entre el número de penetraciones al aro y el número de tiros libres intentados.

por qué ?

Posesiones por partido es una estimativa del ritmo de juego no procesada.
Equipos pobres en el reboteo en el ataque aparecerán como más rápidos de lo que actualmente son, como también los buenos equipos en el rebote defensivo: debido al hecho que los rebotes ofensivos para uno u otro equipo llevan a posesiones más largas, lo cual significa un menor número de posesiones por 40 o 48 minutos.
Un alto porcentaje de lanzamientos de campo de uno u otro equipo también hace decrecer el número de los rebotes en ataque y entonces exagera el número de posesiones por minuto.

Possessions per game is a estimate for pace not processed or subjected to analysis.
Unsatisfactory offensive rebounding teams will look quicker than they in actual fact are, as will good defensive rebounding teams: due to the fact that offensive rebounds for one or the other team result in longer possessions, which entails a smaller number of possessions per 40 or 48 minutes.
A high FG% by one or the other team also changes downward offensive rebounds and therefore exaggerates possessions per minute.

Es realmente el factor 'ritmo de juego' el mejor elemento para juzgar la voluntad de un equipo para correr ? Yo creo que es un mejor indicador de cuales equipos, debido a talento o estrategia, fuerzan pérdidas de balón, rebotean bien defensivamente, y declinan el porcentaje de lanzamiento del oponente.




Is really the  'pace'  the best factor to evaluate the cheerful compliance of a team to run ? I think it better bespeaks which teams, ascribable to endowment or strategy, force turnovers, rebound defensively well, and drop out a good opponent shooting percentage.
