Comentario=
La primera infracción del jugador defensor ( generalmente los jugadores defensores son identificados con la letra B y los atacantes con la letra A...) no finaliza el tiro libre y es una violación de tiro libre "diferida": el balón está aún vivo. El balón se transforma en muerto cuando ocurre la interferencia ilegal.

Registro eBA de las Estadísticas del Baloncesto=
Se registra un tiro libre convertido para el jugador atacante  (generalmente con letra A...) Desde el momento en que el tiro libre es exitoso, la violación del área es ignorada.
El equipo oponente al jugador que lanzó el tiro libre tendrá una puesta en juego desde cualquier punto de la línea de fondo.

Commentary=

As we know through this thread free throws are an organised process, for the statistician too. Let us see something about the basketball statistics register in this case. - a violation by the offensive team or a shot that completely misses the ring and  backboard results in the loss of possession to the defensive team (only if it is on the last free throw), the stats-man register a missed last free-throw and a defensive team rebound on FT for the defensive team.

Como vemos en este hilo los tiros libres son un proceso organizado, también para el estadígrafo. Permítanos ver ahora algo sobre el registro de las estadísticas del baloncesto en este caso. Realmente, es el lanzamiento donde disponemos de todo el tiempo para registrar datos. El lanzador toma su lugar detrás de la línea de tiros libres (4.5 metros o 15 pies desde el aro). - una violación del equipo en ataque o un lanzamiento que completamente no toca  el aro ni el tablero resulta en la pérdida de posesión en favor del equipo en defensa (solamente si se trata del último lanzamiento), el estadígrafo registra un último tiro libre errado y un rebote defensivo de equipo en Tiro Libre para el equipo en defensa.

National Federation - Federación Nacional (Universidades EE.UU):
a- los equipos tiene el derecho a alternar posiciones a ambos lados del área restringida, con los oponentes al lanzador del tiro libre obteniendo las posiciones más cercanas al aro.
b- como máximo 8 jugadores pueden estar en el área restringida (4 de cada lado), y podría haber entonces 5 de un equipo, y ninguna posición vacante puede ser ocupada por un oponente.

NCAA, NBA, FIBA:
a- los equipos tienen el derecho a alternar posiciones a ambos lados del área restringida, con los oponentes al lanzador del tiro libre obteniendo las posiciones más cercanas al aro.
b- sólo un máximo de 5 jugadores pueden estar en la área restringida: 3 oponentes al lanzador y 2 del mismo equipo del lanzador.

En la NBA:
c- las 4 posiciones más cercanas al aro DEBEN estar ocupadas en un tiro libre.

En la FIBA:
c- cualquiera de las posiciones puede estar vacía, pero deben permanecer vacías si el equipo con derecho a ellas no las ocupa.
