eBA Basketball Statistics Tracking=
a) The foul is considered a non-shooting foul.
b) If the ball goes into the basket before the foul was called then it would count as 2 points (not 3) awarded to the captain of team who's basket it entered.
c) If the foul is called before the ball enters the basket then the basket is called  no good by the officials.  
d) The game goes on taking the ball out unless the team is in the bonus or double bonus.

Si por error los jueces permiten a un equipo avanzar en la dirección equivocada, cuando el error es descubierto todos los puntos, faltas cometidas y el tiempo consumido contarán como si el equipo hubiera avanzado en la dirección correcta. El juego se reanudará con cada equipo avanzando en la dirección correcta conforme a la ubicación de los bancos.

If by mistake the officials permit a team to go the wrong direction, when discovered all points, fouls committed, and time consumed shall count as if each team had gone in the proper direction. Play shall resume with each team going the proper direction based on bench location.

The shot did not go in and the referee discovered the mistake prior to free throws. He recorded the foul and gave Team A the ball at halfcourt going the correct way. Is this right and what if the shot had gone in?


Digamos conforme al tema de este hilo que si el Equipo A ha puesto en juego el balón en la dirección que los jueces le indicaron y avanzaron en sentido equivocado ( 3er. cuarto ). El lanzamiento no fue convertido y los jueces descubren el error antes de los tiros libres. El juez registró la falta y dio al Equipo A el balón en el medio del campo en el sentido correcto. Es esto correcto y qué hubiera ocurrido si el lanzamiento hubiera sido convertido ?

No goal: If a player shoots at the wrong basket, he is not in the act of shooting, it is not considered a try as shot is defined as being directed at your: opponent's basket in FIBA or "own's basket" in  US rules.

When the foul is committed, the ball becomes dead. When Team A is in the bonus when Team B player fouls A1, A1 shall be awarded free throws. When Team A is not in the bonus, the ball shall be awarded to Team A out of bounds at the designated spot.

You are not going to give them 3 free throws because they were behind the 3-point line when they "attempted the shot", this doesn't make a  lot of sense.

La canasta  no es válida: Si un jugador lanza hacia el aro equivocado, el no está en el acto de lanzamiento, no se trata de un intento desde el momento en que un lanzamiento es definido como siendo dirigido dirigido directamente hacia el aro: de sus oponentes en FIBA o "al propio" conforme a las Reglas Americanas.
