Básicamente las mediciones lineales pretenden obtener puntos o algo parecido a puntos como una marca desde una fórmula que aparece como la siguiente:

Puntos Creados = a*Pts + b-*As + c*RO + d*RD + e*BR + f*Tap - g*BP - h*(Ti-Tc) - i*(TLi-TLc) - j*FP - k*FF - l*DC

donde FF: Falta Flagrante o Antideportiva y DC: Descalificación.

En algunas versiones de esta fórmula, el resultado es escalado por un factor que toma en cuenta si el equipo ( o el jugador del equipo ) jugo a un ritmo mas rápido o mas lento que el normal. Generalmente le es asignado un valor de 1 a cada una de las mediciones, desde a' hasta i', y 0 a las restantes.

Basically linear weights claims to obtain points or something like points as a mark from a formula that looks like this:

Pts. Created= a*PTS + b-*AST + c*OR + d*DR + e*STL + f*BLK - g*TO - h*(FGA-FGM) - i*(FTA-FTM) - j*PF - k*FF - l*DQ

In some versions of this formula, the result is scaled by a factor that accounts for whether the team (or player's team, if it's applied to a player) played at a faster or slower pace than normal. Generally is assigned the value of 1 to each of the weights, a' through i', and 0 to the others.

La fórmula WORP ( Wins Over Replacement Player - Victorias sobre Reemplazo de Jugadores ) que seguramente vio Usted en algún foro, es un trabajo-en-proceso todavía y no es aplicada por el Sistema eBA de Análisis de las Estadísticas del Baloncesto.

WORP: (PER del Jugador - PER del nivel de reemplazos) * (MPP del Jugador / 200) * 2.444

Esta fórmula intenta contestar a la pregunta: cómo podría impactar la habilidad de un equipo para ganar partidos el hecho de reemplazar MPP del jugador con MPP desde un "nivel de reemplazos"  ?

The WORP ( Wins Over Replacement Player ) formula you surely see in some forum, is still a work-in-progress and is not applied by the eBA Basketball Statistics Analysis System.

WORP: (player's PER - replacement-level PER) * (player's MPG / 200) * 2.444

This formula tries to answer the question: how would replacing a player's x MPG with x MPG from a "replacement-level" player impact a team's ability to win games ?
