Next we view the most recent film of the opponent and discuss the defensive coverage we will use against particular plays, we preview the film edit that will be shown to the team; and finalize the defensive match-ups and coverage we will use that night. ..."

Basketball Software: FIBA Releases Free Software for Live Game Statistics Tracking: FIBA announced on Thursday the launch of FIBA LiveStats, a new free-to-download computer program that allows any basketball association, club or fan to publish live results and game statistics to any website in the world from any personal computer.

"It is my pleasure to announce the release of FIBA LiveStats. This exciting new basketball software will enable anyone to capture game data and statistics in a professional way and provide printouts to teams, media representatives and organizers,” said FIBA secretary general and IOC member Patrick Baumann in a release. “The webcast functionality will allow fans the opportunity to follow basketball games online through their favourite club or organization's websites."

The software was created by SportingPulse, an Australian network that is responsible for distributing similar statistical software to several major professional sports leagues in the Oceania region. The SportingPulse network is made up of more than 4,000 leagues, 30,000 clubs, 180 teams and two million members.
