• Con o Sin Control del Balón es la Cuestión

Si el Balón es sacado de las manos de un jugador atacante con un golpe mientras éste está en el aire, y entonces recuperan el control del balón una vez retornados al piso, se trata de una jugada legal.

Si el balón es removido mientras se está el el aire, y el jugador vuelve a retomar el balón ( mientras está aún en suspensión ) y aterriza, entonces tenemos una violación de pasos o caminar.
Registro eBA de las Estadísticas del Baloncesto=
Pérdida Forzada de Balón.

Si el jugador atacante retorna al piso, sosteniendo el balón, y el balón no abandonó nunca sus manos, uno de los siguiente dos casos son posibles:
1) si el jugador defensor tiene una sola mano sobre el balón, entonces tenemos una violación de pasos o caminar del jugador atacante.
Registro eBA de las Estadísticas del Baloncesto=
Pérdida Forzada de Balón.

2) si el jugador defensor tiene ambas manos sobre el balón, entonces tenemos una situación de salto entre dos, que se resolverá conforme a la regla de la posesión alternada.

A1 se eleva para un lanzamiento debajo del aro y el jugador defensor B2 golpea el balón en las manos del lanzador mientras están ambos en el aire, y no se trata de una falta. A1 deja caer el balón antes de volver nuevamente al piso, recoge el balón y convierte una canasta.

Cuál es la regla de la jugada y el registro estadístico en caso de Balón Perdido ?




A1 goes up for a shot under the basket and the defensive player B2 knocks the ball in the hands of the shooter while they are both in the air, and there is no case of foul. A1 then let the ball fall to the ground before landing back on the court, gathers the ball up and makes a basket.

Desde el momento en que el balón continúa su camino hacia el interior del aro, el toque de B2 no alteró apreciablemente su vuelo.

Registro de las Estadísticas eBA del Baloncesto=
Ignorar ese toque, registrar un Ti de A1 y acreditarle un Tc, pero no acreditar a B2 con un lanzamiento bloqueado ni alterado.

The Rule Book to say that, "A player shall not, while a try or tap is in flight or is touching the backboard or is in the basket or in the cylinder above the basket, intentionally slap or strike the backboard or  cause the ring to vibrate".

As it was described the play, there should have been nothing to call. You cannot have Basket Interference (read definitions at our Global Basketball Encyclopedia) by touching the backboard at all in the first place.

As it was said by Michigans in the last post, you could have a T if the officials feel that the action was not apart of a block attempt. But as long as the block attempt was missed or simply inadvertently hit the backboard by the defender in this case, you have anything to call. Nothing for the statistician, too.

El Libro de las Reglas dice que, "Mientras un intento de lanzamiento o palmoteo está en vuelo o está tocando el tablero o está en el aro o en el cilindro sobre el aro, un jugador no podrá intencionalmente golpear el tablero o causar que el aro vibre".

Como fue descripta la jugada, no habría nada por cobrar. No puede haber un Bloqueo Ilegal - 'Basket Interference' (leer las definiciones en nuestra Enciclopedia Global del Básquetbol) solo por tocar el tablero en primer lugar.

Como fue dicho por Michigans en el mensaje anterior, se podría tener una Falta Técnica si los jueces creen que la acción no fue parte de un intento de bloqueo. Pero toda vez que el intento de bloqueo fue errado o simplemente el defensor golpea inadvertidamente el tablero, no hay nada por cobrar. Nada para el estadígrafo tampoco.

If the slap is a part of a legitimate block attempt, then you cannot under any circumstances have anything to call. And all that can be called for slapping the backboard is a T. Not 'goaltending' or basket interference.


Si el golpe es como parte de un intento legítimo de bloqueo, no se puede bajo ninguna circunstancia penar nada. Y todo lo que podría ser penada es una Falta Técnica. No un bloqueo ilegal o 'goaltending'.
